While there will be some bruising, swelling and redness due to the nature of the treatment and using needles. This is expected to last for a few days post-treatment but is a natural part of the healing process and not a cause for concern . Clients are fine to resume normal activities post procedure.

The varying procedures are used to smooth wrinkles and lines caused by ageing or natural facial expressions. We aim to give clients the most natural looking results as possible. As treatments vary between individuals, we say that results can last anything between three and six months. Botox can also be used to treat a variety of medical conditions too such as excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis).

This treatment can be used on a wide range of patients. If you are interested in the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles and want to give some attention to your “problem areas” then Botox may be for you.

At Brighton Beauty Bar we like to exercise caution and believe passionately in patient education. When you come in for your Anti Wrinkle Injection treatment there are a few things that should be considered. Those who have medical conditions, such as damaged nerves or muscle complaints, should disclose this information during consultation, to avoid any complications.

Treatment is not advisable for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Anti Wrinkle Injections are relatively quick and pain free treatment. It has very little impact on day-to-day activities post-procedure, although we do recommend the following precautions immediately after treatment:

• Keep upright for 4 hours. Do not lie on your front or stay bent over for long periods of time.
• No rubbing or massaging of the injected area for 4 hours after treatment, including facials.
• Avoid headwear that is tightly fitted across the forehead.
• No strenuous exercise for 24 hours after treatment. Light moderate exercise can be resumed after 4 hours.
• Avoid excessive alcohol, blood thinning medication and painkillers such as ibuprofen before and after the treatment to prevent bruising.

Results can take up to two weeks to be noticeable. After two weeks you will have a free follow-up appointment to analyse your results.
